Distributorship agreement
Spatial Data Logic Taps Carahsoft to Support Public Sector Workflow Modernization
Spatial Data Logic has signed an agreement with Carahsoft to distribute its SDL Connect software for workflow automation and digital modernization to the public sector.
Under the distributorship agreement, SDL’s offering will be available to government customers through Carahsoft’s reseller agents and contracts from the National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint and Omnia Partners. The cloud-based SDL Connect provides citizen engagement platforms and mobile apps, enabling access to government services from any location, Carahsoft said Thursday.
The SDL software features a digital form builder featuring predefined workflows that allow the flexible creation of forms for specific-use cases. The solution is applicable to varied local government units and their processes and functions, helping workflow and visibility of municipal services to residents.
Bryan Proctor, SDL’s CEO, said the partnership with Carahsoft will ease public sector procurement of SDL connect, enabling effective and secure government services to constituents.
According to Craig Abod, Carahsoft president and a 2024 Wash100 awardee, SDL offers “practical and valuable solutions” for government agencies to engage citizens virtually at a time when digital interaction with the public has grown beyond levels before.
In January, SDL entered into a strategic partnership with Google Public Sector to help boost SDL Connect with advanced technologies and analytics products, such as Vertex AI Platform and BigQuery.
