Steampunk Secures Long-Term Cloud Services Deal With USDA

The Department of Agriculture has awarded Steampunk a 10-year basic ordering agreement under its STRATUS program for cloud integration and development services.

The STRATUS program facilitates rapid cloud adoption for the USDA, offering access to cloud service providers, software-as-a-service resellers and integration services, Steampunk said.

Steampunk has secured a spot in the program’s unrestricted section, enabling the company to provide support for the USDA’s cloud objectives.

For five years, Steampunk has supported multiple USDA mission areas and the Office of the Chief Information Officer’s Digital Infrastructure Services Center, offering capabilities in DevSecOps, data exploitation, digital platform modernization, cybersecurity, design and strategy.

Joe Nizhnikov, Steampunk’s senior vice president, highlighted the company’s commitment to extending its track record of collaborating with the USDA on cloud migration, modernization and innovation initiatives through the company’s Design Intelligence delivery framework.
