T-Rex Solutions to Support Education Department’s Cloud Migration

T-Rex Solutions announced that it has secured a five-year prime contract from the Department of Education’s Office of the Chief Information Officer to provide support services during the development of the Portfolio of Integrated Value-Oriented Technologies—Hosting.

Seth Moore, CEO at T-Rex, said the company is excited to collaborate with the Education Department for the modernization effort. He added that the deal diversifies the company’s federal civilian portfolio and helps the U.S. government upgrade its mission-critical systems.

The PIVOT initiative aims to integrate information technology services into platforms used across the department and help with its mission of providing world-class services to schools and students, T-Rex Solutions said.

Besides catering to the education sector, the IT government modernization services provider also caters to the country’s intelligence community. In 2020, it acquired engineering services firm Zot to diversify its national security solutions portfolio.

T-Rex further improved its IC services portfolio to include services focused on cybersecurity, cloud and enterprise IT with the acquisition of Cyber Cloud Technologies in August.
