TekSynap Wins Total Engineering & Integration Services Small Business Award
Virginia-based TekSynap announced that it has received a small business award on the $800 million, 10-year multi-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity Total Engineering & Integration Services contract. The deal solidifies a strategic commitment made to support not only the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command but also IT and cyber operations at Fort Huachuca in Arizona, TekSynap said Friday.
In a statement, TekSynap Vice President Joe Walker said the company is passionate about supporting its customers and their growing mission requirements. The company’s hands-on experience and history with U.S. Army ISEC offers a keen advantage as it continues to expand ISEC’s worldwide missions, he added.
The TEIS-IV contract supports U.S. Army ISEC’s worldwide IT Systems Engineering, Installation, and Cyber missions. TekSynap already has a great head start supporting ISEC with multiple task orders on the ITES-3S contract, Walker said.
TEIS-IV enables ISEC’s global mission providing information systems engineering and information technology support services to Department of Defense organizations, including engineering, design, site surveys, installation, material acquisition, cybersecurity and compliance, test and evaluation, project management, and related activities supporting all aspects of C5ISR information and communication systems. The TEIS-IV contract has five awardees, two incumbents from TEIS-III and three new companies, TekSynap revealed.
The company said that its capabilities as a contractor for the Army’s IT engineering, sustainment and development services needs have been well-established in the earlier ITES-3S IT Services MA IDIQ. The company maintains that TEIS-IV and ITES-3S do not compete, but rather complement each other in the types of services each provides DOD customers.
