Genesys Cloud CX Granted FedRAMP In Process Designation

Contact center company Genesys has secured a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program In Process designation for its Cloud CX platform for government.

Genesys Cloud CX allows organizations to deliver seamless customer and employee experiences through various media channels. It deploys, operates and scales CX orchestration technology from a composable cloud platform.

The company is working with its government sponsor to achieve FedRAMP authority to operate at the moderate impact level. Cloud CX is currently listed on the FedRAMP Marketplace, Genesys said Thursday.

Olivier Jouve, executive vice president and general manager of Genesys Cloud CX, said the In Process designation will allow government agencies to take advantage of real-time data and predictive learning capabilities and create a modern business model.

Achieving a FedRAMP Moderate In Process status will allow government agencies to use Genesys Cloud CX.

Genesys offers call center software, chatbots, customer experience and multimedia messaging solutions to commercial clients across the world. It uses cloud, digital and artificial intelligence to modernize clients’ customer and employee experience systems.

The company is headquartered in Daly City, California, and has multiple offices within and outside the United States.

The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program ensures that commercial cloud products are safe for government use.
