FedRAMP Awards High Authorization to Netskope GovCloud

Santa Clara, California-based global cybersecurity company Netskope announced that it has won the authority to operate its Netskope GovCloud under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program’s High impact level. According to the company, the Department of Veterans Affairs sponsored its FedRAMP ATO application and listing on the FedRAMP Marketplace’s top baseline.

Netskope’s go-to-market president, acknowledged VA both as a sponsor and a partner, adding that the company’s offering is a comprehensive solution on a single platform. The VA sponsorship came following the recommendation of Coalfire, a certified third-party assessor organization, Netskope said.

Netskope GovCloud offers federal agencies a solution designed for zero trust performance on multiple protection levels, the company added. Its customers use the Netskope Intelligent Security Service Edge capable of overall protection on agency resources, Netskope noted.

SSE deploys technology that can rapidly identify and manage in real-time millions of cloud-based activities including generative artificial intelligence applications, Netskope also said.

The company pointed out that its GovCloud platform is fully integrated, with an option for expanded protection coverage on a range of data risks and threats. According to Netskope, administration of the solution is also less complex, with its single management console and single policy engine that also reduces potential attack surface area.
