USMC Awards Aeyon Cybersecurity Support Contract
Tysons, Virginia-based Aeyon has announced that it won a U.S. Marine Corps contract for cybersecurity support services.
Aeyon will work with partners Spry Methods, Black & Rossi and Zen Strategics to enhance the Marine Corps’ digital capabilities, internal controls and cybersecurity posture. Aeyon’s cybersecurity and IT teams will also use advanced technologies and best practices to help the USMC mitigate IT risks, improve operational efficiency and protect sensitive information.
Services to be delivered include digital transformation, program and project management, IT risk assessment and reporting and documentation, Aeyon said.
The contract follows several awards companies won in support of the U.S. defense sector.
In September, Forescout Technologies secured a Department of Defense contract to continue improving the Comply-to-Connect cybersecurity program. Forescout was tasked to configure zero trust access principles enforcement and integrate risk management into the existing C2C platform.
In June, Peraton Labs won a $9.2 million contract to install its 1553 Bus Defender cybersecurity intrusion detection and prevention system devices on the MQ-8C Fire Scout unmanned aerial vehicle. The 1553 Bus Defender is designed to fend off runtime attacks, zero-day attacks and other cyber threats from all domains.
