Tyto Athene Books Spot on $8B FBI Contract for IT Procurement

Technology services provider Tyto Athene, through its subsidiary Qbase, has secured a spot on the FBI’s Information Technology Supplies and Support Services 2nd Generation blanket purchase agreement.

The ITSS-2 contract, worth an estimated $8 billion over eight years, is the FBI’s largest IT contract vehicle and will be used by all Department of Justice components for IT services procurement, Tyto Athene said.

The ITSSS-2 contract, which streamlines the IT acquisition process for both the FBI and DOJ, is a continuation of Tyto Athene’s services as a key IT solutions provider for the FBI for over 12 years.

CEO Dennis Kelly shared the company’s commitment to building on its longstanding partnership with the FBI in delivering essential IT and advanced technology services.

The company was also part of the original ITSSS contract vehicle and has been supporting the Justice Department, the intelligence community and other national security agencies.

The contract award also comes on the heels of the company’s recent acquisition of MindPoint Group, a cyber solutions provider with a history of supporting the DOJ’s cybersecurity efforts.
