UiPath Cloud Automation Solution Receives FedRAMP ‘Authorized’ Status

UiPAth’s Automatic Cloud Public Sector solution has secured an “Authorized” status from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, allowing federal agencies to start using the tool for scaling any cloud automation program.

Mike Daniels, senior vice president of public sector at UiPath, said the FedRAMP authorized status enables more public sector offices to use artificial intelligence and automation to improve processes, eliminate errors and deliver better experiences to employees and the public.

The Automation Cloud solution software-as-a-service offering simplifies the deployment, operation and scaling of the digital workforce without a local infrastructure, UiPath said.

Government and industry officials have been highlighting the benefits of cloud computing. However, many emphasize the need to focus on cloud security during migration.

In a GovCIO Media and Research event in March 2023, Stacy Bostjanick, the Department of Defense’s defense industrial base cyber chief, said that data security, cloud migration security and the zero trust architecture must be top priorities for agencies adopting the technology.
