US Army Reserve Command Awards SAIC $156M IT Support Deal
Reston, Virginia-based Science Applications International Corp. has announced a $156 million system support contract awarded under the U.S. Army Reserve Command Information Technology Support Services II program.
USARC seeks a cost-effective, secure and reliable IT service model that provides mission value and an enhanced user experience, SAIC said.
The company is expected to deliver various enterprise IT services to 65,000 users at more than 700 sites, including within the United States, Europe, Asia and the Pacific. SAIC noted that the USARC ITSS II program will be managed from Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
Josh Jackson, senior vice president of SAIC’s Army Business Group, said the company has worked with the U.S. Army Reserve for decades.
The company provides a range of related services to the Army and other defense organizations. In 2022, it secured a $757 million contract to deliver software development and management services to the U.S. Army Enterprise Service Desk.
SAIC received a potential five-year, $150 million IT modernization contract in 2023 from the U.S. Transportation Command.
