US Army Seeks Support Services Provider for Cloud-Based Cost Management Application
The Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Cost and Economics is conducting market research to determine the availability of vendors with the expertise and resources to operate and maintain the Cost Analysis and Visualization Environment system in cArmy, a cloud ecosystem meant for use by the U.S. Army.
CAVE is an application used by logistics and financial analysts from the federal government and the Department of Defense and is part of a system that tracks for DASA-CE information regarding the operation and support of various Army weapons and other materiel.
The preferred vendor would have to provide IT operations and maintenance services, including database and system administration and support for the four systems hosted by CAVE that enable cost management processes. The preferred vendor would also have to implement the modernization of those CAVE systems and configure them for use in the cloud.
The vendor is also expected to provide technical support for legacy tools on the Cost & Performance Portal, a cost management support program run by DASA-CE.
Interested parties are required to submit capability statements. These statements, along with pertinent attachments, should be sent in by Sept. 15, according to a sources sought notice posted on SAM. gov.
