US Border Patrol Awards LMI $604M Task Order to Support Capability Upgrades

LMI announced that it has received a potential five-year, $604 million task order to back the U.S. Border Patrol‘s Program Management Office Directorate’s modernization efforts.

USBP PMOD is upgrading its capabilities along the southern and northern U.S. borders to protect migrants, facilitate commerce and combat human and drug trafficking operations, LMI said.

The company said its efforts will include program management, lifecycle logistics management and technical support. The task order, which LMI says is its largest-ever contract award, is expected to expand services to cover headquarters directorates such as Law Enforcement Operations, Strategic Planning and Analysis and the Chief of Staff’s Office.

LMI CEO Doug Wagoner, a 4×24 member and 2023 Wash100 winner, affirmed his company’s dedication to exceeding expectations to support PMOD’s mission and rapidly deliver solutions.

Scott Recinos, LMI’s senior vice president of the homeland security market, said the expansion of his company’s work across USBP headquarters will streamline operations to support agents’ national security missions.
