US Navy Awards SAIC $375M Contract to Support C4ISR Integration Effort

Science Applications International Corp. has announced a five-year, $375 million contract from the U.S. Navy extending ongoing fielding and integration support for Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic.

The Navy seeks to install command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities on land-based tactical vehicles across the Pentagon’s service branches, SAIC said.

Work is expected to include production, engineering, integration, installation, logistics and programmatic support.

Barbara Supplee, senior vice president of SAIC’s Navy Business Group, shared that the company will provide personnel to support NIWC Atlantic’s fielding efforts, which she described as essential to warfighter success.

The company said it has invested in its facilities in Charleston, North Carolina, to execute the contract requirements.

SAIC previously supported NIWC Atlantic’s C4ISR integration effort under a two-year, $86.6 million sole-source contract awarded in 2021.

The company recently booked a $63 million deal to provide the Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs unit with advanced hypersonics research and testing support.
