USDA Taps Alpha Omega, Dynamo for $86M Cybersecurity Operations Support Contract

The Office of the Chief Information Officer within the Department of Agriculture has selected the team of Alpha Omega Integration and Dynamo Technologies to provide cybersecurity operations support.

Services required under the $86 million contract include cyber defense, incident response and operations, detection and monitoring, network and system security, and cybersecurity architecture.

Work will be performed together with the agency’s cyber defense operations and cybersecurity infrastructure divisions to strengthen the USDA enterprise, including the Information Security Center, Alpha Omega said.

ISC is tasked with helping the department’s bureaus and offices protect their mission-critical assets and information by addressing threats to existing and new technologies.

Gautam Ijoor, CEO of Alpha Omega, said his company’s IT research and development initiatives and efforts to remain updated about new cyber threats and defensive technology make the business eligible to monitor and protect the country’s agriculture mission assets.

Alpha Omega boasts of its Capability Maturity Model Integration Maturity Level-5 certification and its ISO/IEC registration for 20000-1:2018, 27001:2013 and 9001:2015, saying that they reflect its commitment to quality and continuous process improvement.

According to Vivek Taneja, president of Dynamo Technologies, the team’s work will ensure the highest levels of security and integrity for USDA’s enterprise systems.
