V2X Secures $141M Navy C4I Engineering Support Contract

The U.S. Navy has awarded V2X a $141 million task order to continue providing engineering support to the naval fleet for command, control, communications, computer and intelligence systems.

V2X secured the cost-plus-fixed-fee award under the Fleet Systems Engineering Team program, extending the company’s contract work through July 2029.

The Navy can exercise a contract option to continue the C4I systems support for another year, V2X said.

V2X’s responsibilities under the task order include delivering C4I system performance monitoring services, integrating new capabilities into Navy networks to mitigate new threats, providing feedback on computer network defense status and ensuring Navy C4I systems are protected in case of a mission-impacting event.

“V2X provides a full range of assured communications services that are integral to the readiness of U.S. Navy ships,” said Jeremy Wensinger, president and CEO at V2X.

“Since 1999, we have delivered complex C4I support under FSET, showcasing our longstanding history of innovative solutions,” he added.
