The U.S. Navy has selected McLean, Virginia-based defense contractor V2X as one of the six companies that will receive task orders under the Global Contingency Services Multiple Award Contract III of the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific.
The contract has a maximum $2 billion value and is expected to be completed in September 2032, according to V2X. The contract’s tasks cover wide-ranging facility support services for various scenarios, such as natural calamities, humanitarian programs and military actions, V2X said Wednesday.
The company was also one of the contractors under GCS MAC II, wherein it was a leading service provider, receiving almost $300 million in task orders, according to Ken Shreves, V2X senior vice president of global mission solutions and chief service delivery and growth officer. Overall service deliveries in the previous contract reached its maximum $900 million value, V2X noted.
Shreves expressed the company’s continuing commitment to provide short-notice facility support services and incidental construction under the new contract.
The contract’s other slots were awarded to the AECOM-ASO joint venture, Amentum Services, Fluor Intercontinental, IAP-ECC and KBR Services. V2X secured the slot under Vectrus Systems, which merged with Vertex in 2022 to establish V2X.
