VA Eyes Cloud Support Services Task Order for IronArch Technology
The task order will be awarded to the federal consulting firm, according to a recently posted notice.
The notice states that the VA’s Enterprise Cloud Solutions Office needs CSS and CloudKey support to execute the department’s cloud strategy and achieve operational goals, FedHealthIT reported.
IronArch’s services will help the VA review, validate and recommend improvements to plan, assess, operate and improve cloud computing capabilities across the organization.
The McLean, Virginia-headquartered firm’s CloudKey is a customized proprietary tool enabling cloud migration, data collection and decision support.
Using the solution, VA users will have an “intuitive interface” for data gathering, analysis and assessment of systems that need to be transitioned to the department’s Enterprise Cloud.
The firm will also provide the department with data management and reporting customization support. The services will allow the VA to conduct requirement analysis initiatives, the notice states.
Currently, IronArch supports the VA by providing CSS support.
The upcoming task order will help the VA ECSO ensure the “clear traceability and trackability” of all cloud customers.
IronArch is a verified service-disabled veteran-owned company.
Aside from the VA, the firm is also serving the Department of Defense as well as the Department of Homeland Security.
Prior to joining the private sector in 2006, Punaro served in the U.S. Marine Corps for almost four years, shortly after earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from James Madison University.
