Valiant Receives DTRA Advanced Cyber Support Task Order

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency has awarded Valiant a two-year, $18 million task order to deliver advanced cyber support at Fort Belvoir in Virginia and other locations.

Under the Nuclear Enterprise Support Directorate’s mission assurance program, Valiant is expected to conduct threat-emulative cyber assessments, plan operations, manage documents and develop code and related tools. The mission assurance program is tasked with checking for vulnerabilities in U.S. critical infrastructure, networks, mission systems and other assets, Valiant said.

Another company working with DTRA’s Nuclear Enterprise Support Directorate is Parsons, which received a five-year, $170 million task order in July under a potential $850 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quality contract to assess cyber vulnerabilities and conduct various projects.
