Veterans Affairs Deploys Vyopta’s Digital Collaboration System

The Department of Veterans Affairs has subscribed to Vyopta’s digital workplace cloud platform, which is certified under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.

According to Vyopta, the VA’s enterprise-wide subscription expands the department’s use of the company’s Technology Insights software for managing workplace collaboration. The platform enables the monitoring and automation of key IT workflows for the quick resolution and prevention of IT issues.

With the VA platform subscription, Vyopta will also provide the department with the analytics needed for congressional reporting and decision-making.

Over 40,000 VA internal staff and 9 million veterans who are enrolled to access the department’s virtual services will benefit from the cloud platform, Vyopta said.

Alfredo Ramirez, Vyopta CEO, said the VA subscription to the company’s software-as-a-service platform “supports their mission and commitment to deliver best-in-class virtual health care and education and other virtual service benefits to U.S. Armed Forces veterans.”

The Vyopta platform will also improve workforce engagement, drive innovation and enhance productivity, with VA teams able to work in department offices or remotely, Ramirez added.

Other U.S. government agencies subscribed to the Vyopta platform include the Department of Labor, Federal Reserve System, General Services Administration and Social Security Administration.
