Woolpert to Provide Geospatial Technologies to Air Force Materiel Command’s 448th SCMW

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Woolpert a one-year contract to provide geospatial technologies to the Air Force Materiel Command’s 448th Supply Chain Management Wing.

Woolpert will provide IT capability development, training services, geospatial IT modernization and sustainment services supporting the 448th SCMW’s mission of managing the Air Force’s logistics. The contractor will also provide data analysis services to help the service assess the risks its suppliers may be exposed to.

The contract supports AFMC’s efforts to use geospatial technologies in identifying supply chain risks, Woolpert said.

The award comes two months after the company secured a one-year contract from the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center for geospatial IT systems support. The company was tasked with delivering location intelligence operations across the AFMC and supporting the command’s cybersecurity and geospatial capabilities.

Woolpert also received a five-year, $49 million contract from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in 2021 for data, topography and imagery services supporting maritime and coastal studies.
