Xcelerate, Socure Partner to Enhance Login .gov Identity Verification
Xcelerate Solutions announced that the company, in partnership with Socure, has secured a spot in the General Services Administration’s NextGen Login .gov Identity Proofing blanket purchase agreement.
The initiative will enhance identity verification for Login .gov, the online portal for accessing government services, and address historical barriers to online services experienced by underserved communities, Xcelerate said.
The collaboration will combine Xcelerate’s expertise in security, vetting and technology integration with Socure’s advanced identity verification solutions, including biometrics and artificial intelligence.
Xcelerate and Socure will work together to support three functional areas of the project: document capture, authentication and validation; biometric comparison; and identity resolution.
Their goal is to create a secure, user-friendly and inclusive identity proofing system, streamlining the process of accessing government services while safeguarding American users against fraud and identity theft.
Jim Dufford, Xcelerate’s program manager, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing advanced technology solutions for the public good.
Jordan Burris, Socure’s vice president of public sector strategy, echoed the sentiment and highlighted the company’s dedication to supporting government efforts in secure and equitable online identity verification.
