Northrop’s Prabu Natarajan to Join SAIC as EVP, CFO
Science Applications International Corporation has appointed Prabu Natarajan as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Jan. 4, 2021.
Natarajan will succeed Charlie Mathis, a Potomac Officers Club member, and will report to CEO Nazzic Keene, a three-time Wash100 awardee and also a POC member.
“We are confident that his leadership and impressive track record of success as a finance executive in the aerospace, defense, and technology markets, as well as his ability to successfully execute on growth strategies, will bring tremendous value to our team,” Keene said.
She added that Natarajan will be valuable in executing SAIC's long-term growth strategy and in advancing the company's position in key markets, as well as in delivering strong program performance.
Natarajan will join SAIC from Northrop Grumman, where he has held various financial, tax and management roles since 2011.
His credits at Northrop include vice president of financial strategy and planning, VP of mergers and acquisitions and acting VP of tax.
Prior to the said roles, he served as the CFO of Northrop's information systems business and as corporate vice president and treasurer.
Natarajan earned a bachelor of laws degree from the University of Madras, India, and a master of laws from Harvard Law School.
After earning his education, Natarajan worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and held senior roles at AES. He boasts extensive experience in strategic planning, long-range financial business and operations planning, finance and accounting, mergers and acquisitions and in building and managing successful finance organizations.
