NTT Data to Help Maryland Department of Health Modernize Medicaid Enterprise Systems
NTT Data has been selected by the Maryland Department of Health to provide consulting services to advance the agency’s Medicaid Enterprise Systems Modular Transformation program. The contract calls for working with the MDH to establish the MMT enterprise project management office, support the implementation of the Medicaid IT Roadmap, manage organizational change and provide training and testing for the MMT program, NTT Data said Monday.
Tim Conway, NTT Data Service’s public sector group president, said the company is dedicated to partnering with Maryland to provide services that will enable modernization and equity of care. Medicaid programs are a critical component to the well-being of the citizens of Maryland, he added.
In a statement, NTT Data said it will enhance the services delivered to Maryland’s Medicaid population by helping implement technology-enabled MMT solutions to increase efficiencies throughout MDH’s Medicaid Enterprise. The Texas-headquartered IT service management company said it shares the MDH’s commitment to promoting lifelong health and wellness for all Marylanders.
In July, the company won a $15.4 million contract to deliver end-user support services for Argonne National Laboratory, a multidisciplinary science and engineering research center under the U.S. Department of Energy. NTT Data said it was selected for its experience in supporting complex infrastructure programs, its fully integrated managed services, its “true single point of contact” for all end-users, and its innovations and commitment to security.
In Nov. 2020, NTT Data’s public sector business competitively won a $23.3 million task order under the company’s General Services Administration multiple award schedule contract to support the Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency. Specifically, the firm was chosen to provide a wide range of proactive cybersecurity support to CISA’s Cyber Hygiene Program.
