Pentagon CDAO Adds NUTS Technologies’ GAINE Platform to Tradewinds Marketplace
Illinois company NUTS Technologies announced that its Generative AI Encryption at the Edge solution has been added to the Department of Defense’s Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace.
GAINE automatically protects users’ generative artificial intelligence requests made on network edge devices. It uses a distributed and centralized architecture, enabling seamless multi-domain AI session security and sharing in any environment even without an internet connection.
The offering was given an “awardable” status by the DOD Chief Digital and AI Office following a vetting process. CDAO determined that GAINE meets requirements from the DOD and the federal government, NUTS Technologies said Monday.
Yoon Auh, an inventor at NUTS Technologies, said GAINE uses the company’s data-centric security platform, which enables zero trust and prevents adversaries from using generative AI to exploit users’ data.
The company’s offering is one of several recent additions to the Pentagon’s AI and machine learning marketplace.
Earlier in October, CDAO added TurbineOne’s Frontline Perception System to Tradewinds. FPS is an AI/ML-enabled threat detector that allows users to build and deploy recognition algorithms on the field and in operation centers.
In mid-September, CDAO added Shift5’s TRL9 observability platform to Tradewinds. The solution detects anomalies and provides operational intelligence based on serial bus data.
