Octo Consulting’s Pamela Rothka Joins ECS as CFO

Technology company ECS has announced the appointment of Pamela Rothka, a veteran finance executive, into the role of chief financial officer.

President George Wilson, a Potomac Officers Club member and a three-time Wash100 awardee, said Rothka has the knowledge and experience needed to make a significant impact in the company, ECS announced Tuesday. 

“We are proud to have Pamela join our team and look forward to leveraging her partnership, knowledge, and experience to support our growth,” Wilson said in a press release.

In her new position, Rothka will oversee strategic finance, accounting, contracts, pricing, business operations, facilities, mergers and acquisitions and divisional reporting, ECS announced Tuesday.

According to ECS, she brought into her new role over 20 years of experience in corporate finance. Her expertise spans both the government and commercial sectors.

Rothka most recently served as the CFO of Octo Consulting, an information technology service management company. 

Her other past roles include financial roles in Buchanan & Edwards; Whitney, Bradley & Brown and Hewlett-Packard. She also spent 15 years in Lockheed Martin as a controller of global training and logistics. 

She also served on several industry panels and has been honored with multiple awards, including Washington Executive's Top 10 CFOs to Watch in 2020 and DCA Live's 2019 NEW Power Women of DC Tech.

Rothka earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Drexel University's Lebow College of Business and a master's degree in business administration from Temple University, according to her LinkedIn profile.
