OODA Welcomes Former CIA Official to Advisory Board

Consultancy firm OODA has added Dawn Meyerriecks to its advisory board. She will provide insights on emerging technologies and global risk issues.

Meyerriecks, a former Potomac Officers Club speaker, most recently served as the deputy director for science and technology at the Central Intelligence Agency, a role that she had held since October 2015. She was also an associate deputy director for CIA S&T.

In addition to her leadership roles at the CIA, Meyerriecks has held various positions at other government agencies. She was the assistant director of national intelligence for acquisition, technology and facilities and was the chief technology officer of the Defense Information Systems Agency, OODA said Monday.

The OODA board member also served in leadership roles in different companies, including AOL, Unisys and the National Academy of Science. She also received numerous awards, including the InfoWorld CTO of the Year award, Fortune’s top 100 intellectual leaders of the world and the Presidential Distinguished Service Award.

Meyerriecks said she had worked with OODA in the past and noted that the company is in a good position to advise leaders on current and emerging technology trends.

OODA is a Reston, Virginia-based company that offers advisory, consulting and research services to its clients. The company has a network of experts from industry, government and academia within and outside the U.S.
