Orca Security, Carahsoft Team Up for Public Sector Cloud Security

Orca Security has announced its partnership with Carahsoft Technology in a bid to expand its public sector reach. As part of the agreement, Orca Security’s cloud security and compliance platform will be made available to government agencies through Carahsoft’s reseller partners and contracts, Carahsoft said. 

The Orca Platform offers agentless deployment and comprehensive visibility, reducing potential blind spots and costs compared to agent-based solutions.

Additionally, Orca’s FedRAMP status allows U.S. federal government agencies to use the platform to meet Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, regulatory and statutory requirements, and align with executive orders and Office of Management and Budget directives on cybersecurity and software supply chain security.

Stephanie Donofrio, Orca Security’s director of federal channels, noted Carahsoft’s dedication to the public sector and said the partnership will provide agencies with essential security to achieve zero-trust architecture mandates.

Alex Whitworth, cybersecurity solutions vertical executive at Carahsoft and a 4×24 member, added that the platform will strengthen their cybersecurity portfolio and empower public sector agencies with enhanced visibility, compliance and cloud security posture.
