Pamela Rothka Takes on Chief Financial Officer Role at Empower AI

Pamela Rothka has joined information technology company Empower AI as chief financial officer. As part of the executive leadership team, she is expected to work with Empower AI CEO Jeff Bohling and the board of directors.

Her responsibilities include overseeing financial planning and analysis, capital and cash management, accounting, and mergers and acquisitions. She is also positioned to liaise with external audits and lenders.

Bohling, a 4×24 member, highlighted Rothka’s career track record and disciplined approach to finance as suited to the company’s long-term growth goals, Empower AI said.

Rothka is part of Make-a-Wish Mid-Atlantic as its treasurer and a member of its board of directors. Prior to joining Empower AI, she served in similar roles at ECS Federal, Octo Consulting and Buchanan and Edwards.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Rothka was vice president of finance and controller for Whitney, Bradley and Brown and, earlier, CFO of HP’s United States public sector segment.

Rothka holds a master’s degree in management information systems from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Drexel University.
