Parry Labs Adds Two Executives as It Expands in MOSA, Digital Engineering
Parry Labs has named two new executives as part of its push to expand its presence in modular open systems approach, digital engineering and best-of-breed edge computing.
On Monday, Parry Labs announced that Matt Sipe had joined the company as vice president of strategy-open systems and Tom von Eschenbach as vice president of crewed aviation systems and general manager of Huntsville, Alabama, operations.
In his new role, Sipe will lead a group focused on creating a MOSA roadmap for multiple customers while increasing its affordability for government customers. As crewed aviation systems lead, von Eschenbach’s focus will be ensuring customer needs are met, Parry Labs said.
Chief Operating Officer Aydin Mohtashamian, a 4×24 member, said that the addition of the two leaders will help the company contribute to shaping the future of Army aviation and MOSA.
The Army has been collaborating with Parry Labs on a variety of projects. In August 2023, the service tapped the digital systems integrator to create modular open systems for several aviation platforms, including the AH-64 Apache, the Future Long Range Assault aircraft and the Gray Eagle.
