USSOCOM Awards Peraton $2.8B Network, IT Support Task Order
Peraton has secured an eight-year, $2.8 billion task order to provide IT platform and network services to the US Special Operations Command.
Under the Special Operations Forces IT Enterprise Contract 3 Enterprise Operations & Maintenance task order, Peraton will deliver network operations and maintenance services; maintain systems and network infrastructure; perform end user and common device support; and provide configuration, change, license and asset management.
Tarik Reyes, president of Peraton’s Defense Mission & Health Solutions sector and a 4×24 member, said the company has a team of business partners ready to provide necessary mission support to USSOCOM. Stu Shea, CEO, president and chairman of Peraton and a 2024 Wash100 winner, said the company will help the SOF mitigate threats and enhance the United States’ overall competitive advantage against adversaries.
The contract will support over 70,000 users across the combatant command’s components, deployed forces and the chief information officer/J6, Peraton said Wednesday.
The task order is one of several contracts Peraton secured from the U.S. government in recent months.
In January, the U.S. Army awarded Peraton a contract to provide program management, intelligence and cyber operations support, security operations and training services to the Army Cyber, the U.S. Cyber Command and other mission partners. Deliverables will enable decision-making dominance in the cyberspace domain and give the Army and the Department of Defense an information advantage.
