Perspecta Appoints Jennifer Swindell to SVP, Risk Decision General Manager
Perspecta has appointed Jennifer Swindell, a public-sector market expert, as senior vice president and general manager of its risk decision group.
She will be responsible for advancing the company's workforce initiatives and growing its risk decision business. Swindell will also manage day-to-day operations for the company's background investigations services, Perspecta announced Tuesday.
"Jennifer is an experienced leader who brings extensive public sector knowledge and business growth success to Perspecta. She has the proven ability to assemble high-performance teams and is a recognized leader for championing inclusion and equity in the workplace," said CEO and President Mac Curtis, a Potomac Officers Club member and a six-time Wash100 awardee.
Swindell brought into her new role nearly 20 years of experience holding increasingly responsible roles at Booz Allen Hamilton. She most recently served as the senior vice president of Booz Allen's accounts for the departments of Justice, Homeland Security and Transportation.
The appointee also previously held roles at American Management Systems, American Skiing Company and Star Petroleum Refining Corporation.

Swindell earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Wesleyan University and a master's degree in business administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
She also recently completed executive courses at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management.
Perspecta is an information and technology services headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia. It provides a wide range of capabilities to U.S. government customers in the defense, intelligence, civilian, health care and state and local markets.
