Perspecta Names Damian DiPippa as SVP, GM Intelligence Group

Perspecta has named Damian DiPippa as senior vice president and general manager for the intelligence group.

In the said role, he will run the team tasked with providing data analytics, software development and systems engineering and integration for the commercial and military intelligence markets. He will also be involved in growth strategies and management of the intelligence business operations, the company said Monday

President and CEO Mac Curtis, also a Potomac Officers Club member and a 2020 Wash100 winner, said DiPippa will bring extensive knowledge and expertise to the organization as his track record has shown significant career performance he achieved in the past.

"His unique experience working closely supporting our customers across the IC and familiarity with Perspecta solutions and programs make him the ideal candidate for this critical role. I look forward to working closely with Damian and strongly believe that he will be a valuable addition to our leadership team," Curtis said.

DiPippa, a POC member,  has over 25 years of experience in the intelligence community. Before joining Perspecta, he spent almost four years as senior vice president and general manager of ManTech International’s mission and intelligence solutions business segment. He oversaw the unit’s operations with more than 2,000 employees, four divisions and at least $600M in yearly sales.

Previously, he served as vice president for joint department of defense operations at Engility. For nearly two years, he led the business area that served customers in the defense industry, including U.S. Joint Staff, Defense Information Systems Agency, Space and Missile Defense Command, Military Intelligence Enterprise and  Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

DIPippa also became director for defense intelligence and later on served as vice president for infrastructure protection and security at TASC. He began his career as an aerospace engineer at Coleman Research.

DiPippa earned his bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Penn State University and a master's degree in business leadership from Georgetown University.
