Ravel, Equus Compute Solutions Team Up to Develop Workstation Solution

Equus Compute Solutions has announced that it has joined forces with StratusCore, doing business as Ravel, to deliver a generative artificial intelligence and design workflow solution for on-premises and remote teams.

The joint offering allows users to create and deploy customized software images for remote workstations, potentially streamlining resource management and reducing costs, Equus said.

The solution combines Equus’ Nvidia-powered Supermicro Liquid Cooled AI Workstation with a virtualized user environment managed using Ravel Orchestrate.

Equus said the Supermicro workstation is optimized for high performance computing, generative AI, engineering and other applications.

Equus CEO Jay Lawrence, a 4×24 member, said the partnership allows the presentation of generative AI design workflows using advanced computing infrastructure. Graphical processing unit developments are helping companies realize return on investment opportunities and save costs through proper resource allocation, Lawrence added.

The solution is targeted at intensive applications in AI training, architecture, engineering, entertainment, health care and other industries.
