Raytheon Continues Work on Navy CIWS Contract Under $110M Modification

Raytheon will continue work on a U.S. Navy contract for MK 15 Close-In Weapon System upgrades and conversions, system overhauls and associated hardware under a $110M firm-fixed-price modification.

The company will perform work in various locations and is expected to finish by October 2023. Fiscal 2020 operations and maintenance, shipbuilding and conversion, and weapons procurement funding amounting to $110M will be obligated at time of award and were not competitively procured, Defense .gov said Wednesday.

Funds in the amount of $61M expiring at the end of the current fiscal year.

Naval Sea Systems Command is the contracting activity.
