Raytheon Partners With Uptake to Deliver Predictive Maintenance to USMC M88 Fleet

Raytheon has partnered with Uptake to equip deployed U.S. Marine Corps teams using M88 armored recovery vehicles with predictive maintenance capabilities. As part of the partnership, Raytheon will integrate technical abilities into the M88 to enable large-scale onboard recording, processing and transfer of sensitive data over secure Wi-Fi. Uptake will offer its suite of advanced artificial intelligence software to allow the USMC to leverage actionable insights, Raytheon said Monday. Raytheon also acknowledged that the military’s proactive approach of using advanced data analytics and condition-based monitoring improves long-term vehicle health and maximizes vehicle availability. Brad Kewell, Uptake's founder and chief executive officer, said the USMC support services are aimed at improving mission readiness, success and safety for deployed marines at the tactical edge.
