Razwan Raja Takes on Chief Innovation Officer Role at Agile Defense

Reston, Virginia-based digital transformation and cybersecurity company Agile Defense has named Razwan Raja its chief innovation officer, tasking him to oversee technology development and spending.

He holds expertise in providing complex engineering operations and integration support to federal customers, Agile Defense said Tuesday.

Agile Defense CEO Rick Wagner, a 4×24 member and a past Wash100 winner, said Raja’s appointment indicates how the company is meeting mission requirements by utilizing a “unique combination of technical talent and innovative capabilities.”

Raja founded and led XOR Security, which Agile Defense acquired in 2023. He said at the time that the transaction expands XOR’s access to the defense and intelligence sectors and enhances Agile Defense’s digital transformation service delivery to federal agencies.

Raja previously served as a senior manager at Deloitte, according to his LinkedIn profile. While there, he supported the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s capabilities development and future operations divisions.

Earlier, he held various managerial and engineering roles at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems and CACI International.
