Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch Joins Mobile Satellite Users Association’s Board of Directors
The not-for-profit Mobile Satellite Users Association has announced the member-selected lineup of its 2024 board of directors.
Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch, senior vice president of government policy and strategy in Inmarsat’s U.S. government business, will take office on Jan. 1, 2024, alongside nine other satellite industry leaders. The other appointees include Lilac Muller, Kymeta’s SVP of product development; Alberto Palacios, Globalstar’s CEO; and Joel Schroeder, Intelsat’s director of land mobile, MSUA said.
MSUA President Lisa Dreher said the 2024 board members hold extensive space industry expertise and will guide efforts to promote mobile satellite solutions.
The association also announced that it is accepting nominations for the 2024 Satellite Mobile Innovation Awards until Jan. 26.
Earlier in 2023, Cowen-Hirsch received MSUA’s inaugural President’s Award in recognition of her over 10 years of service to the association.
Cowen-Hirsch said she would continue to support MSUA’s growth, noting that its member organizations are at the forefront of “massive transformation” in the satellite industry’s mobility sector.
