Rebecca McHale Joins Peraton as Chief Information Officer
Rebecca McHale, a Potomac Officers Club member, has been named the new chief information officer of Peraton.
In her new role, McHale will be responsible for Peraton’s digital transformation. She will be tasked with leading information technology initiatives in support of the company’s strategic and operational objectives while sharing IT expertise with the executive leadership team.
McHale has prior experience serving as CIO and chief information security officer at Booz Allen Hamilton, Peraton said Monday. She also held the role of CISO at global educational technology company Blackboard.
In addition, Peraton has appointed new human resources and procurement leaders to join its executive team.
John Reing, who previously served as a PricewaterhouseCoopers partner, will assume the role of chief human resources officer, putting him in charge of developing and executing the company’s integrated human resources strategy. His duties span the areas of talent acquisition and management, total rewards, leadership development and employee relations.
Meanwhile, Lori Ellis, a former Science Applications International Corp. executive, will perform the duties of chief procurement officer, including strategic sourcing and vendor management. Additionally, she will serve as the executive sponsor of the company’s veterans employee resource group.
Stu Shea, Peraton’s chairman, president and CEO, said in a statement that being able to retain the best talent, deliver transformative digital solutions and ensure a sustainable supply chain is becoming increasingly important as the company moves to differentiate itself in the marketplace.
