Rick Dansey Joins T-Rex Solutions as VP of Growth and Strategy

T-Rex Solutions announced that seasoned federal market executive Rick Dansey has joined the company as vice president of growth and strategy.

Dansey will oversee all aspects of the company’s growth and strategic planning,.research and competitive intelligence, marketing and proposals, T-Rex Solutions said Tuesday.

“Rick is an integral part of T-Rex’s growth strategy to help us manage large program pursuits and acquisitions in the unrestricted federal marketplace,” said Sean Murphy, T-Rex Solutions’ chief growth and strategy officer and a Potomac Officers Club member.

Murphy added that Dansey’s contribution to the executive team will help the company distinguish itself as a growing mid-tier provider of next-generation information technology solutions.

CEO Seth Moore, a POC member and a 2020 Wash100 winner, said T-Rex Solutions seeks professionals like Dansley who care about the company’s customer mission and can drive innovation.

“Rick brings leadership and direct knowledge of what it takes to successfully operate and grow businesses in the full and open federal market,” Moore said.

Dansey said he is eager to help T-Rex Solutions deliver its approach to IT modernization to more federal agencies as a partner to government IT leaders.

He most recently served as the chief growth officer at TeraThink, a company of IT and management consultants who specialize in driving sustainability. The appointee also spent 16 years in CACI, where he eventually served as executive vice president and business group manager.

Dansey earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master’s degree in legislative affairs from George Washington University.
