SAIC Exec Nominated to EnerSys Board of Directors
The EnerSys board of directors has nominated Lauren Knausenberger, a 4×24 member and a past Wash100 awardee, as a Class II director during the company’s annual meeting.
Knausenberger is the current executive vice president and chief innovation officer of Science Applications International Corp.
Arthur Katsaros, the outgoing board chair of EnerSys, described Knausenberger as a thought leader and change agent in technology, digital modernization and cybersecurity.
The SAIC executive was previously the chief information officer and chief transformation officer for the Department of the Air Force, EnerSys said.
As Air Force CIO, she supported 20,000 cyber operations for the enterprise information technology, data and artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity directorates. She also facilitated the implementation of the department’s IT investment strategy.
Before joining the Air Force, Knausenberger held various roles at American Management Systems and CACI.
Dave Habiger, the CEO of JD Power, was also nominated as a Class II director.
Katsaros said the nominees “bring outstanding integrity, judgment, leadership skills and business experience to EnerSys.”
