SAIC Reports $286M in Contract Awards for Fiscal 2021

Science Applications International Corporation announced it has won over $286M in national security contracts for the second quarter of fiscal 2021. 

Michael LaRouche, SAIC's vice president and general manager for national security and a Potomac Officers Club member, said SAIC's contract wins include deals to manage and modernize the engineering information technology systems of defense and intelligence agencies, SAIC announced Tuesday.

“While we’ve maintained a traditionally strong SE&I base of awards, our classified, space, and defense customers are now also coming to us for a broader set of solutions, including digital engineering, analytics, software development, and IT modernization," LaRouche said.

He added that SAIC is eager to expand its services for the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community and contribute to their digital transformation efforts. 

According to SAIC, the contracts were awarded to provide support services and solutions in systems engineering and integration, software, analytics, mission engineering and training. 

One of SAIC's most recent awards is a $950M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity Advanced Battle Management System contract, which the company won in the first quarter and did not include in the value report. 

ABMS was created to mature, demonstrate and proliferate across military platforms and domains to enable Joint All Domain Command and Control. 

DOD's and IC's digital transformation efforts have prompted them to invest in technologies like digital engineering, cloud migration and the internet of battlefield things, the company added.

SAIC is a major technology integrator that boasts an expansive portfolio across the defense, space, civilian and intelligence markets. It offers solutions in engineering, IT modernization and mission solutions.
