Scout Space Receives Strategic Investment From Noblis

The corporate venture arm of science and technology nonprofit Noblis has invested in Scout Space, a space observation data provider working to advance domain awareness.

According to Scout CEO Eric Ingram, Noblis’ strategic investment indicates confidence in the space situational awareness capabilities his company provides. Scout Space’s visual data and object-tracking solutions have been operational since 2021.

Mile Corrigan, president and CEO of Noblis, said combining capabilities with Scout Space will create more resources for space intelligence efforts and various missions.

A 4×24 member and 2023 Wash100 winner, Corrigan emphasized the importance of SSA to the economy and national security. She added that both companies understand that more diverse space-based datasets are needed, Noblis said.

Corrigan has been the company’s CEO since October 2022. She directs Noblis’ efforts across its various business areas and oversees general management efforts.

Corrigan joined Noblis in 2001, starting as a computer scientist and taking on leadership roles of increasing rank.
