Sean Masterman, Vice President of Enterprise Sales for the Americas at Udemy Business
Sean Masterman, a Potomac Officers Club member, is the vice president of enterprise sales for the Americas at Udemy Business, which offers learning solutions to help drive business outcomes. In the said role, Masterman aligns Udemy’s offerings with the needs of enterprise organizations to change the way they teach and learn.
He was promoted to the position in September 2020 after more than two years of serving as senior director of enterprise sales for North America, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Prior to Udemy, Masterman was the managing director and vice president of employer solutions at Penn Foster. He was focused on new and existing corporate, government and higher education organizations to align the Penn Foster suite of cloud career and upskilling platform solutions with customer outcomes.
He also held the role of vice president of customer success for North America at Skillsoft’s SumTotal Systems where he led a team of account managers to serve, retain and grow the customer base in the region. The executive was appointed to the position after serving as vice president of strategic partnerships at Skillsoft where he developed and managed strategic relationships within the U.S. and abroad.
His decades-long career also includes time spent as regional director at Techies .com and as director of business development at Oxford Analytica.
Masterman holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Maryland.
