Singapore’s QuEST Global Launches US Defense Subsidiary
QuEST Global, a product engineering company headquartered in Singapore, has launched a new subsidiary focused on supporting the U.S. aerospace and defense industries.
The new QuESt Defense Systems & Solutions subsidiary will be headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will operate independently in accordance with U.S. rules, QuEST Global said.
QDSS Board Chairman Page Hoeper said the subsidiary would introduce lower costs, better schedules and improved performance for American warfighters.
“QDSS will bring to the defense industry the same focus on engineering excellence and efficiency that QuEST Global’s commercial customers enjoy,” Hoeper said.
The new subsidiary plans to hire more than 1,000 engineers in the next five years, according to the parent company.
QDSS will specialize in engineering analysis in computational fluid dynamics, heat transfer analysis, structural finite element analysis software development, engineering process services and sustainment engineering.
The new team is also expected to work on software application development, data analytics, cybersecurity and the digitization of engineering processes, according to QuEST Global.
QuEST Global added that QDSS is committed to helping its customers maximize the value of their contract spending through strategic partnerships and technology solutions.
Ajit Prabhu, chairman and CEO of QuEST Global, said that the new subsidiary will provide U.S. government contractors the QuEST enterprise’s capabilities in mechanical, electronics, software and digital engineering.
According to its LinkedIn profile, QuEST Global also provides embedded electronics, product life cycle solutions, engineering software and consultancy services to clients in the automotive, energy, high-technology, medical, transportation and semiconductor industries.
