Snowflake Recognizes Carahsoft as System Integrator Partner of the Year

Information technology solutions distributor Carahsoft Technology has received the Americas Public Sector System Integrator Partner of the Year award from data cloud company Snowflake.

Awarded during the annual Snowflake Summit, the recognition signifies a commitment to sales support and contracts expertise, Carahsoft said Tuesday.

Steve Jacyna, Carahsoft’s Snowflake team director and a 4×24 member, credited the sales team and reseller partnerships for his company’s ability to support channel partner enablement, drive rapid acquisition and increase awareness of the Government and Education Data Cloud offering.

In 2022, Carahsoft ramped up its promotion of Snowflake products through webinars, trade shows and live events. Snowflake’s public sector offerings also became available through Carahsoft’s General Services Administration Multiple-Award Schedule and the Amazon Web Services Marketplace.

In 2021, Carahsoft added Snowflake’s Data Cloud product to the National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint Cloud Solutions contract, making it available to state and local governments and academic institutions.

Snowflake and Carahsoft have been partners since 2019.
