SOSi Secures $63M DIA Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning Technology Development Task Order

The Defense Intelligence Agency has awarded SOS International a $63 million task order for artificial intelligence and machine learning technology development.

SOSi will use AI and ML to help the Missile and Space Intelligence Center modernize and improve its decision-making capabilities. Services will also ensure that MSIC can streamline its intelligence analysis production, SOSi said Monday.

Julian Setian, CEO of SOSi, a 4×24 member and a past Wash100 awardee, said AI/ML solutions enhance data analysis and intelligence delivery, giving the U.S. military a significant advantage. Setian added that SOSi will expand its services to ensure continued support for MSIC’s mission.

The task order is one of several contracts SOSi secured from the U.S. military in 2023.

In July, the company won a five-year, $25 million contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for enterprise IT services. The company was tasked to deliver automation, cybersecurity and other essential services to over 40 locations across the U.S. European Command’s and the U.S. Africa Command’s areas of responsibility.

In May, the U.S. Air Force awarded SOSi a spot on a $995 million advisory and assistance services indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
