Innovation and RPA Lead, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army Financial Information Management (DASA-FIM)
Ms. Christine Gex has successfully led the development, deployment, and sustainment of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) programs for two federal agencies. Currently she leads the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army Financial Information Management (DASA-FIM) Innovation team and is responsible for its RPA initiative. As a leading innovator within Army Financial Management and Comptroller (FM&C), Christine has been instrumental in reaching across the Department of Defense (DoD) to create information technology (IT) infrastructure partnerships intended to establish pathways for digital workers to become part of the FM workforce's daily workflows. Prior to her current position, Christine was the Chief Information Security Officer at the NASA Shared Services Center, where she spearheaded efforts to provide CAC/PIV level credentials to the federal government’s first RPA robots. She holds a Bachelor of Management Information Systems degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Business Administration degree from William Carey University. Additionally, she is an Information Security Certified Authorization Professional (CAP).
