David Majernik is a Senior Cybersecurity Architect for the Enterprise Security Solutions Practice for the Hewlett Packard Enterprise/U.S. Public Sector Organization. With more 35 years of experience, he specializes in innovating solutions and capabilities that address complex customer problems. Most recently his interest has been focused on Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Systems Engineering, and Mission Engineering. Working as an integral part of an elite team Majernik has leveraged Linked Data/Semantic Web techniques in Big Data analytic architectures to deliver cloud-based and real-time streaming analytics frameworks that enable data and knowledge management solutions for cybersecurity operations and managed services. Majernik has lead several government Global Information Grid Information Assurance (GIG-IA) tiger teams and been the primary author of several security focused position papers. Prior to joining Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Mr. Majernik served as a Senior Systems Engineer on the senior staff at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he successfully executed enterprise-level knowledge-management strategic initiatives that supported multiple CNO and CND activities for government clients. David has held senior management and technical leadership positions at organizations such as Wintara, BBN Technologies and Georgia Institute of Technology.
