Andrew “AJ” Forysiak has over 24 years of experience within the Department of Defense as an Intelligence and Cyber Professional with assignments as a U.S. Army Military Intelligence Officer, U.S. Navy Civilian, Defense Intelligence Agency Civilian, and U.S. Army Civilian.

During his military career, Mr. Forysiak served in many positions both in the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside the Continental United States. His CONUS assignments included the Military Intelligence Battalion – Low Intensity in Orlando, Florida and the 204th Military Intelligence Battalion (Aerial Reconnaissance) in Fort Bliss, Texas. Mr. Forysiak’s CONUS assignments were all in support of Counter-Intelligence and Counter-Insurgency missions in the countries of Panama, Peru, Venezuela, and Columbia. His assignments in Korea included positions in the 501st Military Intelligence Brigade, 3rd Military Intelligence Battalion (Aerial Exploitation), and 532nd Military Intelligence Battalion where he served as a Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Company Commander, and Operations Officer. Following his assignment to Korea, Mr. Forysiak deployed with the 3rd Infantry Division to Baghdad, Iraq as a part of the Tactical Operations Support Team, a new concept supported by Headquarters Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). Also while in Iraq, Mr. Forysiak supported the fielding, training, and instantiation of Joint Intelligence Operations Center – Iraq.

Upon leaving active duty, Mr. Forysiak took an assignment at Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) as a Department of the Navy Civilian serving as the Operations Officer in support of the JFCOM J2. Follow on positions at JFCOM included Assessment & Transition Branch Chief – Joint Transformation Command - Intelligence; Concept Development Branch Chief – Joint Intelligence Operations Center - Transformation; and Project Manager – Valiant Angel. In October 2010, Mr. Forysiak left JFCOM to join the Futures Directorate as a Department of the Army Civilian at U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) where he supported the Futures Directorate on the DCGS Standard Cloud (DSC) effort and Cyber Pilot. Mr. Forysiak spent an additional 3 years as the Modernization Chief for the INSCOM where he spearheaded the Distributed Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (DPED) effort and stand up of the PED Center of Excellence at Fort Gordon, GA.

Mr. Forysiak is currently serving as the Director, Office of Primary Responsibility for the Executive Agent Cyber Training Ranges at the United States Army Cyber Command and also serves as the Command’s Innovation Mentor. Mr. Forysiak holds an undergraduate degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Management. He is a Senior Executive Fellow from the Harvard University Kennedy School and is also a graduate of Executive Education Programs at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, the Wharton School of Business at Pennsylvania University, and the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.
