Barbara Supplee is Executive Vice President, Navy Business Group at SAIC, a premier Fortune 500® technology integrator driving our nation’s technology transformation, with annual revenues of $7.4 billion and approximately 24,000 employees.
SAIC provides engineering, digital, artificial-intelligence and mission solutions across the defense, space, civilian and intelligence markets. Supplee is responsible for leading the strategy, business development, and solutions and services execution and delivery of the Navy Business Group. The group brings a wide range of solutions and services to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
Supplee joined SAIC in 2023, after serving as vice president and general manager of GDIT’s Navy and Marine Corps division. At GDIT, she led efforts in cloud computing, digital engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, large-scale training, and logistics and IT managed services in support of the Navy.
Prior to GDIT, Supplee served as senior vice president of CACI’s engineering solutions and services business, working with the Navy’s acquisition commands and public shipyards. Prior to that role, she was the vice president of business development for engineering solutions and services with a pipeline of $20 billion.
Supplee joined CACI in 2019 as the vice president of training and warfighter readiness, leading a division of more than 900 engineers, instructional designers and logisticians across the globe.
Prior to joining CACI, Supplee served as the transformational capture director for BAE Systems, working across strategic captures to drive capture discipline and synergy.
Supplee served in numerous roles during her 15-year tenure with BAE Systems, culminating as the director of operational excellence and strategy, engineering authority, as well as program management authority, where she improved operational execution across the business.
Also at BAE Systems, Supplee served as the strategic planner for Navy Strategic Systems Programs, providing engineering and business operations consultation for the government leadership responsible for submarine-launched ballistic missiles. In addition, Supplee managed the strategy for enterprise knowledge sustainment and personnel competency development.
Before her role as strategic planner, Supplee was the manager of Navy programs for BAE Systems’ Lands and Armaments division. She developed the integrated business plan with division program directors and leaders while acting as the central business manager for the Navy line of business. While at the division, Supplee also was the systems engineering lead for verification of the MK57 missile-launching system on the USS Zumwalt.
Supplee’s first assignment with BAE Systems was working on a large-scale information management system as the principal systems engineer in the company’s national security solutions business line. In this role, she worked as the software and systems integration team lead, chief of the proposal division, and business capture manager.
Prior to BAE Systems, Supplee worked for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency as the chief of doctrine and as a chief collection officer. Her career started with enlistment in the Navy as an intelligence specialist.
Supplee obtained her Bachelor of Science in computer information systems from Park University.
